Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Contact details you enter on our Tell Us About Your Jeep form: your name, email address and/or phone number, preferred contact method and best time to reach you.
• Jeep details: year, model or trim, engine, mileage, what the Jeep is doing, what you'd like done and whether there's a safety concern.
• Photos you choose to upload with the form.
• Text-message consent: whether you ticked the optional SMS box, and if you did, when you opted in, which page you opted in from and which version of the consent wording you saw.
• Communications: the messages, emails, calls and texts we exchange with you about inquiries and service.
• Security and anti-spam data: to stop spam and abuse, our server creates a scrambled one-way code (a salted hash) from your connection's IP address to limit how many submissions come from the same source. We store that code, not your IP address. The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check that runs in your browser and is verified by Cloudflare, and a hidden field that only automated bots fill in.

How we use it

• To answer your inquiry and communicate with you about your Jeep — including waitlist and scheduling, diagnostics, estimates and approvals, repair and parts updates, and pickup.
• To keep a record of what you told us so the shop has the full story.
• To protect the form and our systems from spam and abuse.

We do not add you to a mailing list from the intake form, and we do not sell your personal information.

How it's stored

Form submissions are saved in a secured database that is not publicly accessible. Uploaded photos are kept in private storage; the shop views them through secure links that expire after 30 days. Each submission is also sent by email to our shop inbox so we can respond.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers to run this website and our communications — for example website hosting and database storage, email delivery, our shared shop inbox, spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) and our business phone and texting service. They process information only to provide those services to EFJ and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Mobile information and text messages

Mobile information and text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information solely to deliver EFJ's communications to you. We do not sell mobile information. Entering a phone number alone is not consent to receive texts. You may opt in by ticking the optional text-message box on our intake form, or by giving express verbal permission that our staff records. If you text us first, we may reply about your inquiry — that alone is not consent to unrelated or promotional messaging. See our SMS Terms for details, including how to reply STOP to opt out.

Other sharing

Apart from the service providers above, we share personal information only if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of EFJ, our customers or others.

Our Instagram feed

The homepage shows recent posts from our Instagram account. Our server fetches those posts; clicking a post takes you to Instagram, which has its own privacy policy.

Your choices and privacy inquiries

To ask what information we have about you, request a correction or deletion, or ask any privacy question, email eli@elifixesjeeps.com. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
